We are alive.
We are safe and sound.
We have food in our tummies (Subway, though it wasn't the same).
We have spent 33 hours on trains in the past 4 days.
We are in Mumbai.
Here's a teaser from the Ajanta caves for you. They were nothing short of spectacular, and hopefully we will get some pictures up soon! All this train travel really drains us, and we haven't had much time for work! But this is a cool city from what we've seen so far, so we'll keep you all posted.

Cherie: Wow; amazing photos! I concur on the National Geographic quality photo of the man in the red turban. Also love the one of the young guy standing at the top of what looks like a mountain (after his bath). Ironically, after looking at the black marble statue, I took a deep breath and just felt a calm peaceful feeling; then I read your comment about the peacefulness you felt!
